Here are ways you can be a real help...
By Asking for Amendment to the Proposed Local Development Plan (LDP2)
Everyone currently has an opportunity to comment on the proposed Local plan, within which is the plan to put the roads through the ponies’ field. We still need as many of you as possible to comment on this plan if we are to stop the loss of the field (possibly by compulsory purchase) so if you haven’t already done this please do so by following the instructions given on the sub-page above (entitled "Sending Your Objection"). Closing date for submissions is Friday 23rd November.
We would also like to say thanks to all of the walkers and locals who have already signed comment/ objection sheets, which have now been handed in to the Council's planning department for consideration. You may receive a letter from them acknowledging your objection but you don’t need to do anything further at this stage.
Thank-you from the ponies!
By Liking and Sharing on Facebook
Please visit our Facebook page to keep up to date and to spread the word about our potential loss. The more people who send comments to the planning consultants the better chance we have of keeping our field.
By Lodging an Objection (When the Time Comes)
Once the final plans are submitted you will be able to lodge an objection to them via a direct link on this site. The site will be updated to show details of these plans.
A Sincere Thanks to Everyone Who Signed Our Petition and Comments Sheets
We are extremely grateful to the 235 people who very kindly signed our online petition and the 363 who filled out the comments sheets. We forwarded them to Peter Brett Associates once the deadline for submissions had passed (19th May 2017). That number of signatories will be difficult for the planners to ignore.
You can still view - but not add to - the petition by clicking here. Thanks again to everyone who supported us!
